Finally got to see the San Antonio Winery in East Los Angeles! As we waited for the winery tour to begin after we did the tasting, we strolled around the gift shop. These were wine-inspired birthday cards with birth year and age containing facts about significant events and celebrity birthdays in that year.

We had our own fireworks show! This was the Molten Pot one – it was a series of colorful lava-like spews followed by sparkles and crackling sounds. What a show! This was my favorite of all the fireworks we got. This photo was a 3.2 second exposure.

John R. Wooden’s memorial was a touching celebration of the great life he lived. Appropriately taking place in Pauley Pavilion, on the Nell and John Wooden Court, several past players, chancellors, coaches came out to speak about their interaction with him.
