[167/365] July 4th Fireworks Show, Almansor Park, Alhambra, California, USA
I hope everyone had a great July 4th weekend! It has been several years since I’ve been in the US for July 4th. The past couple years I’ve been out of the country and celebrating with other Americans wherever I happen to be traveling. So, this year it was nice to actually be able to […]
[166/365] Molten Lava Pot, Fireworks Show, Los Angeles, California, USA
We had our own fireworks show! This was the Molten Pot one – it was a series of colorful lava-like spews followed by sparkles and crackling sounds. What a show! This was my favorite of all the fireworks we got. This photo was a 3.2 second exposure.
[165/365] Baby Kylie, West Covina, California, USA
Kylie is my friend’s niece. She’s just so adorable when she’s sleeping! I did a baby photo shoot and easily took a couple hundred photos in an one hour span. In this one, we used a basket (as inspired by some baby photos my friend saw) and a toy friend of Kylie’s. 🙂
[164/365] Colorful Chairs, Interior of Walt Disney Concert Hall, Los Angeles, California, USA
Inside the expansive Walt Disney Concert Hall, there are hundreds of perfectly lined up chairs in a multitude of colors. I like how there’s not a pattern to the colors, but it still goes so well together.
[163/365] Wimbledon Championships from Henman Hill, All England Club, Wimbledon, London, United Kingdom
About a year ago today, I was on vacation in London. We headed to the All England Club in the London suburb of Wimbledon to watch the Men’s singles match between Andy Roddick and Andy Murray outside on the screen on Henman Hill. The very next day, I was in a room of fans watching […]
[162/365] California Philharmonic Performance, "America The Beautiful, Walt Disney Concert Hall, Downtown, Los Angeles, California, USA
I’ve taken so many photos of the Walt Disney Concert Hall from the outside, but this time, I finally got to experience the actual hall as it was designed for – a musical show! The interior is a wooden masterpiece, arranged in such a way that sound is optimized for everyone in the hall. Victor […]
[161/365] Pot of Milk Tea, Royal/T, Culver City, California, USA
Royal/T is a cute cafe located in Culver City off Washington Boulevard. It was a scene out of a cafe in Japan!
[160/365] Celebrating John R. Wooden’s Life, Pauley Pavilion, UCLA, Los Angeles, California, USA
John R. Wooden’s memorial was a touching celebration of the great life he lived. Appropriately taking place in Pauley Pavilion, on the Nell and John Wooden Court, several past players, chancellors, coaches came out to speak about their interaction with him. What an amazing life he lived! “Make each day your masterpiece.” -John R. Wooden
[159/365] Sean & Alice’s Wedding, Firefly, South Pasadena, California, USA
Sean and Alice’s wedding was beautiful! The theme was a lovely combination of green and brown. Flower centerpieces in the middle, along with dimly lit candles and a silky soft green table cloth made up the decor.
[158/365] Sean & Alice, Pasadena, California, USA
Congratulations to Sean & Alice! Their wedding today was beautiful! This was one of the photos I took of them on an engagement photo session at Pasadena City Hall.
