This a photo from my trip to Japan back in 2009. Japan was such an amazing place to travel to. It saddens me when I watch coverage of everything going on over there. My thoughts and well wishes are with those in Japan in the aftermath of the earthquake and tsunami.
There are so many interesting things to see in the Harajuku area of Tokyo – all kinds of unique and colorful outfits. I was taking photos, and I’m glad I got this one. This baby is adorable and its like they were looking straight at the camera. Cutie!

Reminiscent of the Christmas Markets in Germany, this was set up at the base of the Umeda Sky Building in Osaka.It was complete with sausages, drinks, and crafts, including these colorful ceramic houses. Markets like this are so much fun!
For some reason, I really like this picture because of the background and how the orange of the leaves and the blue of the sky merge together. This was a tree outside of the Golden Palace in Kyoto, Japan just before leaves were going to fall to the ground.
